Firstly, let me tell you a bit about our background and what we do. ‘On the Move’ is an innovative and bespoke boutique estate agency, set up by husband and wife team, Annabelle and Phil Jones, who between them have accrued masses of experience in the property sector. Annabelle and Phil grew up in Stockport and now live in Gee Cross, Hyde with their two daughters Megan and Libby. They love working close to home as they have great knowlegde of the local area and love talking about it. Our mission is to offer our customers a level of service they have never experienced before. We specialise in select, quality properties and are not afraid to turn away any that don’t meet our exacting standards. This may sound bold, but we are confident in what we do, and believe we offer an elite, high-end service and a marketing package to match.
We are a very friendly and hard-working bunch who will always go that extra mile to keep our clients happy.

Annabelle Jardine Jones
Hi, I’m Annabelle, the sales and marketing guru!
I have a serious love of property and I genuinely enjoy helping people to achieve their dreams.
I am responsible for meeting new landlords and property owners to give valuations for sale or rent (which are always very honest); I also produce our fabulous sales brochures and offer help and support throughout the progression of the sale. Together with our photographer, Sarah, I help stage homes to maximise the visual impact for photos and viewings. As well as this, I am also responsible for conducting viewings, we accompany 100% of all viewings, applicants prefer to be showed around the property by a third party and it gives us chance to get to know our buyers before negotiating the very best price.
Previously, I spent 20 years as a director of a housing association, so I’m no stranger to property.
At home, my 2 teenage daughters, Megan and Libby keep me on my toes. I enjoy going to the gym, spending quality time with my family, and cooking my famous Sunday roasts, which are apparently ‘to die for’.
Hi, I’m Phil. I’m in charge of lettings.
I’m meticulous about detail and love the challenge of dealing with property lettings and everything that comes with them. I’m responsible for the maintenance of our portfolio of rentals, ensuring that they pass their quarterly inspections with flying colours. Managing the finances is also ‘my bag’ and I collect the rent and liaise with Her Majesty at HMRC to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
I also help with brochures, marketing and floorplans.
In a previous life, I worked in the fast-paced and highly competitive oil and gas industry.
To relax, I play the Euphonium in a brass band; in fact, I met my wife and business partner, Annabelle, in the school brass band many moons ago.
Hi, I’m Emma and I’m the office manager and admin queen!
My role is to ensure that everything runs smoothly back at base, and all the boxes are ticked. You will probably speak to me when you phone our office, and I will probably be the one to welcome you if you call in to our office – I can also make a very good coffee. I help to look after sales progression and ensure everything is chased up and followed up! I deal with sales negotiations if Annabelle is out of the office, and help Phil with the lettings admin.
At home, I am the proud mother to my 4-year-old daughter, Daisy who is the apple of my eye.
